A first glance at the result

After the preparations on the previous page the parameter aggregation function itself can be defined.

The first step is to select and place combinations. ,In the right part of the management window the user can "draw" the combinations by selecting the desired type of combination from the menu (and/or/sum) first and then placing the selected combination item at the desired place.
(The sum-combination is a weighted sum, the and-combination is realized by the minimum function and the or-combination by the maximum function.)

The second step is to connect the second column of the management window with the combination items and the combination items one with another.

In this example, the expert has defined:

• "Low mobility of water" is true if "low hydraulic conductivity" and "high clay content" are true. Therefore the and-combination-operator is used.
• "weighted sum of suitability degree" is the weighted sum of all the items of the second column with the percentages you can see in the above picture of the management window.
• the final result "suitability as waste disposal site: high" is the weighted sum of "low mobility of water" (40%) and the "weighted sum of suitability degree" (60%).
